天主教博智小學2023 - 2024

校長的話

親愛的同學們及家長：

      新學年、新開始、新希望！

      很感恩可以來到天主教博智小學這一個大家庭。 當我踏入博智小學的時候， 我感到老師們和同學們很有親切感。 還記得八月下旬參與學校「水世界」活動的時候， 我見到老師們和同學們盡心盡力地招呼每一位參與者。負責攤位的同學更用心地向嘉賓作介紹，並細心和耐心地協助幼稚園小朋友參與活動。 我見到的是：活潑可愛的博智學生和老師們認真地帶領活動；我聽到的是：校內所有人的歡笑聲；我感受到的是：師生上下一心的團結精神！ 這個情境不正正就是我們一向所盼望的美好和融洽校園生活嗎？

      我相信每個孩子都是獨特的！ 每個孩子都有自己的感受、自己的創作，以及有自己的作品。學校所推行的「感、創、做」課程，就是讓學生們發揮創新感覺、 用意念創未來及學習做到好，一切從孩子出發！學校就是一個讓學生可以有多元發展的地方，亦是一個「巨大的舞台」，讓他們都能尋找到自己的夢想，並在這個「舞台」上把他們的自豪和成就感發光發亮！

      縱使我們在學習或尋找夢想的過程中會遇到挫折，但只要保持堅毅的精神，家長的關懷和支持，相信天主的帶領和幫助，多少的障礙也能跨過。因為主說：「 你不要害怕，因為我與你同在；你不要驚惶，因為我是你的天主；我必堅固你，協助你，用我勝利的右手扶持你。」（依：41:10）

Message from Principal

Dear all, 

      New year , New start, New hope!

      With the above words on my mind, I have come to serve in the big family of Price Memorial Catholic Primary School; I feel thankful for that.  The moment I stepped into the school campus, I could feel the friendliness of our students and teachers.  I can still remember in late August when I joined the school activity – the Water World – I noticed our students and teachers whole-heartedly entertained each participant; the students responsible for the stalls attentively made introductions of the activities to the guests and patiently assist the kindergartners to participate in the activities.  What I saw was cheerful students and earnest teachers conducting the activities; what I heard was lots of laughter around the school campus, and what I felt was the united spirit among our students and teachers.  Isn’t this the scenario – a cheerful and harmonious school life – we are expecting to see in the school campus?

      I believe each child is fairly unique in his or her own feeling, creativity and works.  Our school is carrying out Learning By Doing （LBD）curriculum on these aspects to let students play out their new ideas to create their own future and learn to do their very best.  Indeed, everything originates from the children and the school is the place for their diversified developments  It is also a ‘gigantic stage’ where, we hope, they can search for their own dreams and glow with pride and success.

      In our search for dreams and in the process of learning, we may come across setbacks, but with our persevering spirit, parents’ care and support, and most importantly, God’s assistance and guidance, we can bypass all obstacles, for God said, ‘Do not fear: I am with you; do not be anxious: I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.’ (Isaiah 41:10)
